We made it – 24 hours of rather rough ferry crossing. We slept for 12 hours of it, Iain in the top bunk was in danger of rolling out several times – good job he had a safety bar to keep him in. First people we met on ferry were from? Yup Rhyl – god you can’t get away from the place.
Good run out of Santander – traffic a bit scary but with my fab nav skills got us out of the city in 15 mins.
We have arrived at first campsite in Cantabria. Tiny very rustic village with 20 or so old houses and a campsite by the river. So far only us on the site so very peaceful. Its lovely and hot so sat outside the van with a cuppa. Weather forecast is for 70 degrees next few days so staying for 2 nights to start off the tans 🙂
