First trip out with the’bus’ and the complete Baxter family. We choose Forestside Farm campsite as its fairly central with things to do for all age groups.
The site has hard standings for 5 caravans, with hook for electricity and adjacent water. Paddock area for approx 12 tents. Very friendly and peaceful as set a good mile back from the main road.
For us oldies a few stately homes very close by such as the National Trust property of Sudbury Hall which we visited, plenty to see to keep us interested for a full day. For the more adventurous Alton Towers was only 20 minutes away.
The village was about a mile or so away and a fabulous indian restaurant rounded off a perfect weekend.
